Muslims in Somalia and in the Middle East treat diabetes and cancer by mixing camel milk with camel urine. People also mix the camel milk and camel urine with the leaves of acacia trees Galool (Acacia Bussei), Garbi (Acacia albida), Cadaad (Acacia senegal), Qurac (Acacia tortilis), and it has been reported treating diabetes, cancer, and lately AIDS. Not sure if it achieves what it is set out to do but Somalis are claiming it does treat those ilnesses.it supposedly cures cancer, has anyone ever heard of this? a relative of mine was diagnosed with leukemia a while back and was advised by a Saudi Dr, to go back home and drink camel urine excessively, he's very skeptical about this, and I don't blame him. Runti I have heard many times that caanahaa iyo hilibka geela inaay cafimaad yaheen, laakin the urine? it sounds like pure qorfaad to me. Another thing Let's assume there is some truth to it, how can you possibly drink urine. Allahu aclam.

Uff, now that is just nasty, who would work with these people who just washed their face with urine like it's nothing, very disturbing to say the least.

Loool yeah cows are sacred to them... No offence, but how can u worship a cow? Walahi wa yaab ... Imagine killing a cow in front of a temple... Loool ... They'd all faintu guys reminded me of a TV documentary I watched some time ago. It was about Indian holy cows! a good percentage of India population worships cows and actually use its urine as holy water. I saw a guy selling fresh urine in some downtown. Office workers got in line and wash their faces with it before getting to work.
I agree with compolicated - no way Jose

i thought there was a hadith that supported this idea, of the prophet using it our recommanding it![]()
i never drink it, but i dont see the difference between that and drinking milk from ari. you have to know, medicine derives from geedo and tress, and a camel eats pretty much all the trees anywhere, so drinking all its produce is very healthy
The hadeeth referred to is a saheeh hadeeth, in which it says that some people came to Madeenah and fell sick. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told them to drink the milk and urine of camels, and they recovered and grew fat. In the story it also says that they apostatized and killed the camel-herder, then the Muslims caught them and executed them. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (2855) and Muslim (1671).

Gacan if you go to the first page have a look at my post where I posted a study on the matterthanks Seem![]()
but somalis are either unaware of it, or think of it being nasty, they hardly use that. they believe its all about the camel milk and meat. but with the media focus on camels and its healing powers, this might be the next oil and this is one area where somalis have an edge
