I am in Minneapolis,MN and just came out with participating to welcome Somali region President with my fellow
Somali Ethiopian friends.
there was about 3000 Somali Ethiopians inside the hall of the Marriott Hotel in Down Town Minneapolis. in contrast
Demonestrators were less 150 people, and when they were not allowed to get inside because they did not have invitationes from welcoming committee. The meeting between Somalis Ethiopians and their leaders was going on three hours but demonestrators were calling seccession from Ethiopia left the street infront the hotel when they got cold. there was a snow in every where in Minneapolis. So, the go to their home after they shouted words like Ethiopian colonialists and dictator Males. They are saying Ogden should cutt off from Ethiopia.
But, there are in other side more than 35 Somali tribes all againist Ogaden concept because they are Somalis but not Ogaden. And also two third of Ogaden love their leader who himself is from Ogaden.
