Abdi,

I meant the origin of the word for Tomato in Somalia! Did it originate in Somalia (ie the yaanyo term) (if so when) or was it borrowed from another race? Do you get me?

all i know is طماطم and close to the world in English tomato.

maybe is latin origin or greek.
