Saaxib Al shabab can be easily taken out. The reason this hasnt happened are because of three reasons.

1. Amisom is in Somalia as a peacekeeping army. Therefore their mission is only to protect and be stationed all the time, they will only fight when they see Al shabab closing and thats why we read all these articles saying Al shabab attacked amisom bases.

2. The TFG was very corrupt prior to Farmaajo coming in the picture. The Somali army did even desert the TFG because of salaries not being payed.

3. Al shabab never confronts Amisom, they usually hide with Hijaab on and they throw grenades. Or do hit and run attacks.

let me see amisom cant leave the 4 km becouse lastime they did they got the ass whooping of the century..but anyway its a mystery al shabaab cornered the TFG and the Amisom in 4km square of muqdisho and with the all of the support of the world they cant even do shit..this is very strange indeed.

Abdisamad, it is a balanced war. It is part of the empire's plan for this war to go on and no end of Somalia's suffering. The TFG and Al-Shabaab are all contained for a reason. The Arms embargo is placed on all Somali entities not to be able to form viable security forces. All of the weapons that is used in Somalia is a cold-war era type weapons. No new additions.
