Btw, red sands mean something and that means iron (Fe) in the ground in a terresterial environment. Do you all remember that Malaysian company who got the contract from the Ethiopian government to explore gold and other minerals in the Ogaden and suddenly crossed to Mudug side of the border? When Somalis on the Mudug side of the border saw it, they talked to the Ethiopian troops who accompanied with the Malaysian company that this is Somalia. Red sands mean something!

no one really needs those regions the south can function even better without them, i think this idea will grow in the next years in 2020 it will be Somaliland and Puntland who will be begging the South.

It is true that starting from Hiiraan...To Kismayo the country is fertile..But the north has OIL that is why Somaliland does not want to let go of SSC land as it is their land that has the biggest oil reserve..The company that Osman Atto was working when things fall apart..CONOCO...At Holhol.....
