Afghan women members of parliament.

A sigh of relief has escaped from the Afghan people, especially women and those in Kabul, since the fall of the taliban. No longer can they intimidate and subjugate the Afgahn people with impunity. Those goat shagger bastards have been chased into the mountains where they hide like cowards. Kabul is now thriving and Afghanistan is thriving socially and economically.

The football stadium is now used for viewing friendly matches, rather than to kill innocent women.

The democratically elected government of Afghanistan is leading an intensive effort to combat the growing of opium. A trade that was used by the taliban as a primary source of revenue.

Please don't post such vulgar pictures on my thread. Especially when those pictures aren't even from Afghanistan.

And it's not like there was any "freedom" or "dignity" under the Taliban. It was "do as we say or you die".

Fadlan dont point out us that these are iraqis,to us they are one ummah.

First of all you didn't "point that out beforehand" you clearly edited your post after I made that statement, as the post subscript clearly shows. Second of all, the actions of a few rogue soldiers who are currently on trial do not represent the actions of the United States in overthrowing the taliban. Indeed the people of Afghanistan have regained their honor, national pride, and freedom as a result of the invasion. We now have women parliamentarians, elected leaders, and girls in school-concepts unheard of during the reign of the taliban.

The time is minor importance, while i was editing you were replying,i would swear to the good lord but i know that holds no weight with you.Moving on i find it historical that when clear evidence is put in front of you, you simply dismiss it as an isolated case. But on the same token you want us to dismiss people who are on their home terf defending their lives against an agressor, your logic is flawed to say the least.

It is an isolated incident. An incident that shocked the American public and government and lead to a substantial investigation. It isn't like the systematic oppression and killing of people by the likes of the Taliban and Sadddam Hussein. Are you honestly so naive to think that the people of Afghansitan want the Taliban back in power? Do you honestly think the people of Iraq want Saddam back in power? You can blab about "Muslim ummah this" or "freedom fighters that" all day, but the fact of the matter is that both Afghanistan and Iraq are a lot better off after the invasion. Currently the only major sources of headache in these countries are remaining elements of extremism that have yet to be annihilated.
