What ethnicity do ppl confuse you with?

Sudanese ARE Arab people.Arabs are diverse, and include people who are a mixture of races/ethnicities ( Egyptians, Morrocans Al gerians etc ) or people who have become Arabised.

Culturally, linguistically and perhaps even politically yes but i'll never consider them ethnically arabs.

Sudani people to me are a people who fall into two groups, those who became Arabised and those who have MIXED with Arabs from up north.I consider Sudani people as Arabs.100%

agree!! only by language, religion, and association have the Sudanese become Arab, without those factors they would be African.

When i went to Umrah in 2010 almost all the Arabs that greeted me asked if i was Sudanese and i replied Somali, many didnt even know what that was.
In England the Asians usually know i am Somali, i had a white girl was convinced that i wasnt black and asked me whether i was one?

frankly speaking alott times people talked 2 me in sudanese accent which i happened 2 speak it..and they assume am al-darob or shaqy or kahaly tribe then i told them am from Somalia..then they always say " bes enta sheklah men beladna ya man"
