Workplace Habits That Irritate Me

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Wed Aug 24, 2005 10:34 am

1. Potlucks - Why should I share my daily staple of bariis, hilib ari and ansaalato with them gaalo folks ? I have no interest in your food so don't bother inviting me.

2. Water cooler conversations - Please don't drag me into your conversations about your dog, cat or ugly looking kids.

3. Meetings - Lets stick to the agenda and keep those ideas which produce more work to yourself or better yet do it on your own.

4. Cubicle Creepers - Don't sneak up on me while I surf the web. Have the courtesy to shuffle your feet to let me know you are coming.

5. Collection Baskets - What ? Collect money to buy a coworker that I don't know or like a gift.

6. Photos in offices - For the 101 time, don't ask me why I maintain a Spartan look. I am in no way interested in sharing my personal life with you.

7. After_hours Drinking - What part of I don't drink don't u get ? Secondly, I am not interested in getting to hear about your marital/relationship problems.

You're just speaking from a man's point of view. I find those conversations rather interesting! It's fun getting to know your co-workers Smile

Hawyia Mule,
Who are you kidding? Everyone here knows that you and your ugly futo madwobe sisters run an internet café’ in London. You dress your ugly sisters in revealing cloths to entice and bilk poor Farahs out of their quxoti money.

Lol@ #1.....Abdi, u'za greedy skinny....

Anyways, I hate the people I work with...they all gossip so fccukin much...
Don't live around any Somalis, you'd think I'd get a break from tha bullshyt..but naaah. Mad

What pisses me off is whenever an ethnic looking person comes in and they're brown skinned but don't have African features they're like..."Hey, is she/he from your place".....Not even country, but my place. Like it's so insignificant. Anyway they for some odd reason thought I was Ethiopian until the London bombings happened.....

Losers Laughing

lol@ Hannah, that must be irratating. Just cause they may have known someone from Africa, doesn't mean i am supposed to know them.

Then there are the whole geography lessons you have to give when they ask where your country is located.

Abdi, my last year of high school was the worst.

I had a friend from Ghana, and this one girl asked me if we were neighbors back in Africa?...
"Did you have lions in your backyard?"
"Does black peoples hair blow in the wind?"

Gosh rich white kids are sooooooo stupid Laughing

Hannah, lol I used to tell those folks that I used to wrestle lions back home. Then I would point to a nasty scar that I got back in middle school when playing rugby. "That was when I got mauled by a lion. But now he is a rug in my house."

PS Have you seen FREE's spread in KING Magazine. She got fired for that. Alas, another Bostonian bites the dust. Julissa is cute and all but nothing beats ghetto booty especially from the Hood of Dorchester, Mass.
