don't you guys just hate when people refer to us as "somalians" everytime some dumb a.ss foreigner uses that word i just feel like hitting them in their jaw and saying its SOMALI! not somalians SOMALI!

Laughing They're just going with the flow. They are so used to hearing people being referred to as "Americans, Ghanians, Jamaicans, Canadians etc" that they think "somalians" is the right word to use. Correct them and then let it slide Cool

I hate it when somalis call each other or tell other people we are "somalians"....

I was so mad at this guy names john at my workplace I literally wanted to give a scartch his eyes out. I was at work as usual doing my thang. And this is how the conversation went.



John: Hello Cadeey how are you?

Cadeey: I am fine thanks! Thank God its Friday.*Smiles*

John: Cadeey I have been wondering since you never told me where are you from?

Cadeey: Didnt I tell you john? Have a guess?

John: I have no idea thats why I am asking!

Cadeey: Just try---(Iidot cant he see I am african)

John: Cadeey Seriously I have no clue



Cadeey: Okay I am from Africa




John: AFFFFFRRRRRRRRRRRICA (yells it out everyone turns around)




Cadeey: Yes john why are you shocked?

John: Cadeey you are too pretty to be african




Cadeey: laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing John I am from Somalia Laughing I am Somalian.




Okay I do call myself somalian I dont know why?
