Can you still be friends with your ex, like just good friends? Or once you break up, is it time to just move on from everything

my ex for the longest became one of my best female friends.you have to lose all your feelings for her in order for this friendship to workout though

at first its hard but later in about six to a year u are just become friends and keep intouch thats all

Me too or be friends with someone who broke your heart.I'm guessing the feelings weren't that deep to begin with ..maybe more like friends than lovers.

Well now the question would be how do u lose the feelings if you're still friends though?

if you still have feelings for her then shiiiit,dont even think about befriending her as that will put u in the weaker position.in fact I would try to have minimal interact with her unless u have what it takes to be sneaky enough,hang in there until you get back on it and reconquest her again.

I never said anything about hating your ex. All I said was, as soon as she becomes your ex, she`s irrelevant. You don`t need to be nice and civil with her and interact with her, all that shidh gets a bit awkward, that`s why I say, blank the chick.

Well if I am the dumper and he still wants to be friends, I am all for it. But if I'm the dumpee it is over my dead body, why would I want to be friends? It is a constant reminder that you weren't good enough....
