A City is made by it's residents and the demand placed on Moqadishu by all somalis as a trophy is the primary problem impeding it's recovery.

Amisom are ensuring there is nothing left of it apart from the Vila of Sharif.

since 1991 how many have attempted to control it: Barre, Caydiid, Ali Mahdi, USA, UIC, Abdullahi Yusuf, Ethiopia, Shabab, TFG, Uganda, Burundi... Each leaving accumulation of damages. who will be next?

Mogadishu is the capital for all Somali's. A real Somali wouldn't talk shit about Mogadishu unless they are a real douchbag tribalist. I do agree the Mogadishu is currently a place full if bloodshed....

I wouldn't ve against building a new captital tho

Too bad Addis Ababa looks better then all cities in Somalia
