Warye FAH

Whats up with the Blue Line going to New Carlton from Metro Center. The place is full of straight up ghetto madow and it stinks sometimes
LOL, I don't ever go on that part of the metro. Green Line, Yellow Line or Red Line for me

But madows are just disgusting, some chick had her period on the metro and there was blood all over the seats!

War my first encounter with Ethiopian and habashi in general was not long ago, so they were complete stranger to me. But for what I have heard we have better dhaqan than them when it comes to akhlaaq and mustaqbal. I was shocked to see the pictures of melez daughter peeing on the side of the street with her friends, I was like wtf.

Patriot,

I live in by far the most diverse area of the entire Western world (Washington DC). There are people from all over the world that live here and I can very easily distinguish a Ethiopian from a Somali. I mean its like I can be 100/100 if We played charades. I don't know where You've seen "Nigerian Looking" Somalis but generally speaking forget Somalis even people who've met Somalis or dealt with them know You inside out. I myself can distinguish Ethiopian, Sudani and Somali perfectly and never had a problem doing so even though I've dealt with perhaps hundreds. My HS was dominated by a lot of Xabashis yet whenever a new Somali student would come I would just know right off the bat there are new Somalis here even though the school is dominated by Xabashi. Heck as we speak @ this bookstore I'm at there are 3 girls similar complexion similar everything but I just know for a fact 2 are Somali and one is Xabashi, I'd even put My life on it

Advo,

I think the biggest difference is the fact that we don't share the same Religion. Most of the Eitho Muslims I think are Oromo but most of the Eithos in America are Christian. Even the Muslim Eithos are kinda very lax and fit in well with their Christian Countrymen, while Somalis for the most part we are die hard proud Muslims. For that we have nothing in common with the Xabashis in my opinion 8-)

advo xabashi I mean those in ethiopia are very submissive and polite seems like after successive years of brutal regimes they have lost their vigourness.

I mean cabsi ba kamuqata and its like they distrust anyone you will think they have leaved under Gadafis rule for 200 yrs.

Oh another thing they are wife abusers and they like beating the shit out of their wives as they are mostly alcoholics.

one strange thing in their culture is you can shukanso a lady infront of her brother and beat the shit out of her if she turns you down.

I mean there was this incident in london where a young xabashi lady was stabbed to death and she laid lifeless in a pool of her blood in the lift. just cos she ignored this dude.

Yeah, we live in the most populated Xabasha area outside of Ethiopia/Eritrea here in Washington DC Area.

Its easy to distinguish. Xabashas are more lighter skinned but they are more shorter on average than us.

Murax then you need to travel to East Africa and see for yourself.

Anigu I used to think I am an expert in differentiating but seems like its very hard.

I mean I personally could be confused of being sudaneese, eritrean or Ethiopian

the good side of it is you can exploit the opportunities available.

most of them are Amhara who were the ruling elites before mengistu clamped down on them. They cannot represent Xabashis at large.

Patriot from My experiences this is how it is 95% of the time

Ethiopians are lighter while Somalis are darker
Somalis are tall/slender while Eithis are short and sometimes kinda stocky
Eithos have more round faces while Somalis have longer mor narrow faces
Eithos have kinky hair while Somalis have soft hair
While they do have foreheads we have bigger foreheads
Somalis have this eye thing where they're eyes are usually distinguishable, and their cheeckbones are higher.

Ofcoures give or take there are exceptions to the rule but this is sort of the general observation I've made.
