The dude is good wallahi. He made videos speaking in Russian of all languages and Korean as well. I am surprised he is self taught though. He may be lying about that.

I don't know why he repeats every sentence twice. and then when he says "Waxaan ahay Khaas" he means "I'm single" lool! that is what happens when you teach Somali by yourself.
Also I say he will from luck of Oxygen if he says "Carrruuuuurr malihi and MagacCcceygu waa"

Re: Halirious Somali Accent
Non-Cushite Blacks for some reason have really hard tones (in my opinion the Scandinavians have the most passive tones) so besides this guy's heavy use of the jaw he is not bad at all. I am actually impressed with his accurate pronunciation of the "c", "kh", "x" and other epiglottis and pharyngeal stops. This guy can be a fluent Somali speaker in no time.

He is saying he is a husband but doesn't have children yet. Waxaan ahay xaas laakiin aniga caruur malehi. If you notice, people who don't speak Afro-Asiatic languages pronounce "x" as "ch". Axmed is always mispronounced Achmed in the media and this guy with his rudimentary self-teaching tried to bridge the gap but is still unable to pronounce "x" without a hard K (English C) before it which of course leads to a totally separate sound for us (q/kh).IRONm@N wrote:I don't know why he repeats every sentence twice. and then when he says "Waxaan ahay Khaas" he means "I'm single" lool! that is what happens when you teach Somali by yourself.

Oh he means "waxaan ahay xaas" which is still wrong, but he pronounce it like Khaas! good effort though.Voltage wrote:He is saying he is a husband but doesn't have children yet.
