Rebellions are always bad. Especially when they have no idea what they will do when they get rid of the existing system that is in place.

^guys no offense but this thread is not about Animalia(or what you call 'somalia').

i agree though with ximan on not rebelling against leaders who indeed rule with shariahlaw fully(no muslim leader except iran rules with shariah today).

Lol ur obessed about Iran and Shia. Prophet Muhamad SCW did not rule with Sharia Law straight away he took long time, so that he didn't want people to reject it. So if a Muslim government doesn't rule with Sharia Law that doesn't mean that the government is a murtad government, the only time a nation can reject a government through force is when the government makes u commit Shirk, and neither Yemen & Libya's leader never forced their shacab to do Shirk.

These rebels are saying they want democracy in Libya where there is freedom for all.
You have very weird understanding of freedom.

Freedom means the following to me:

-Freedom of religion and conscience
-Freedom from arbitrary arrest, detention and torture
-The right to due process
-Freedom of assembly and association
-The right to choose your representative
-Freedom of expression and thought
-and so on...

These are basic freedoms and rights that normal people across the globe - Muslim or non-Muslim- cherish and value.

Everyone knows there is no freedom in an shariah state,
That would make Sharia based state a dictatorship. Just one with religious flavor but dictatorship nonetheless.

I don't know about you but most Muslims in the world do not want to live in a dictatorship. Just ask Egyptians or Libyans or Tunisians or Yemenis or Iranians or Somalis for that matter; after all we overthrew a dictator.

intruth "freedom" is invention from satan

Now, you're talking nonsense. Satan didn't invent freedom. If you wanna ascribe abstract notions like freedom to the bogeyman that is Satan, suit yourself. But don't expect to be taken seriously. We know the freedoms I mentioned above are enshrined in national constitutions and these constitutions are written by man.

You comments are strange in another way. They sound like Ayaan Hirsi, who you loathe.

Ayaan Hirsi: Islam denies gender equality
You: Islam is against gender equality

Ayaan Hirsi: Islam inspires dictatorships
You: Democracy is against Islam

Ayaan Hirsi: There is no freedom of conscience in Islam
You: Apostasy is sin punishable by death

I mean, what is the difference between you and her?

^^^

When hutu speaks about freedom, he is speaking about freedom outside of the boundaries of Islam. When these protestors are calling for democracy, they are not calling for western style democracy. They are just asking to vote in their own leaders. There have been numerous polls about how Muslims want Islam present in their political system.

For all whom think these governments can NOT be protested against because it is against Islam here is a great video which explains all. At the end you will come to conclusion it's the people's rights and duties to go against governments who oppress the masses.

But what these rebels are calling for is the tumble of Muslim oppressor and replace with a western oppressor. Why can't they build a system which benefits the Muslims populations and rules by Allah (swt)’s words?

HutuKing, the Zaidi Imamate of Yemen was destroyed by the Saudi wahhabis, the Saudi fat monarchs will do everything i their power to keep the Zaidis out of power.
Actually it is the opposite. In the 1962 civil war in North Yemen, the Zaidi Imam was supported by The Saudi government against the republicans because the republican were supported by Egypt's Jamal Abd al-Nasser. Nasser was a greater threat to Saudi. In this case the Wahhabis supported a Zaidi Shia against a Nasserite threat. Eventually, the Zaidi Imam al-Badr lost the war when Saudi pulled its support.
However, In the 1930s, Saudi Arabia fought against Yemen and stole Jizan, Najran and Asir provinces.
