If Faroole wants to become the Head of Somalia, he must fix all problems in Puntland to win the hearts of the southerners

Piracy
Human-traffacking

and in Somalia it's

Terrorists
Amisom
AU

So mixing this will actually put Somalia in a dangerous position, faroole should fix puntland before running to another spot escaping the one he already shat on.

faroole will be eaten alive if he ventures into Mogadishu.

In Mogadishu
Siad Bare left in a hurry
Aidid met his creator
Abdulahi Yusuf never slept without sleeping pills
Abdiqasim was strip searched, his handgun confiscated
Ali Mahdi was forced to walk from Afgoi to Mogadishu
Mohamed Dhere was subdued like (fill the blank)
US Rangers were dragged on the streets
Ethiopians left in the dark of the night
UN army was massacred after US rangers ran away
Qanyare, Yalaxow, M. Dhere, etc ran out of Mogadishu (their turf) for dear life
Islamic Courts were also chased away
AMISOM dead soldiers are showcased as trophies regularly
Sheik Sharif can't venture out of his military barracks without AMISOM tanks (self imposed prison)
etc.....

Do you think someone fragile like Faroole can survive in Mogadishu?
faroole is not heading muqdisho..he want to bring every one to garowe..and he want's to bring the u-n fund's and office's to garowe..this good hustling if he succeds in this mission he got my respect..

Abdisamed, you don't fix the problem by running away from it. You have to tackle it. The only entity that will control Somalia is the entity that controls Mogadishu. Full stop. Most Somalis realize this except for Faroole and his supporters.

Look at it this way, Garoole is a small club and Mogadishu is a gigantic club. One individual has gotten hold of the small club while the bigger club is being fought over. The one with the small club calls all the others to join him with his small club but all the fighters know the moment the big club is gotten hold of by one person that individual will control the turf.

Garowe supposed to be the new mogdishu

Garowe-33,000
Mogdishu,2,500,000
Jowhar was the first TFG interim capital, its the same size as Garowe. No one's moving the capital, its just temporary just like the TFG, but being qaldaan I don't expect you to know how things work outside of your famous polygon. The last AU summit was held in Sirte, Libya - a town of 75,000 hosted the entire African continent's leadership, Garowe can far surpass the expectations that many had. The entire TFG is holed up in a portion of Mogadishu that is probably no bigger than Garowe itself so its not that different of a trade-off.

How many people are showing up? 2,000? They can be accommodated easily for the conference, and the expansion can begin immediately.

I think it is probably save to say that Medina alone is bigger than Garowe. If you add Hamarweyne, Shangani, Dharkenley, Waaberi, that is atleast 3X the size and population of Garowe.

Jowhar was "interim" because the warlords controlled Mogadishu and wouldn't let the government settle there. The government is now in the capital and sitting in Villa Somalia. Somalia is in war and the government is trying to consolidate control which startes with controlling the most important piece of the country. The idea that someone thinks it is worthy to give that up to based in the desert far removed from being an integral part of the epicenter is....well laughable at best. Well still, I can understand that point. It is honorable to try to stay relevant in the primary scale.

The AU can travel to all those places, can the TFG? The TFG itself is holed up in an area the size of a typical small American university.

Voltage, until Farmaajo came along, the most relevant political or social figure among your clan at home and abroad was a single unkempt warlord. Its ironic that you talk about relevance.

Mogadishu will still function as the commercial and social center of the country but the capital will be moved for strategic reasons. If Mogadishu suffers a bad fate, its game over right now, but pushing the capital a minimum 300 miles away from the nearest terrorists is a solid strategy. The kinks are being worked out and the ball is rolling, no point in debating something that's already happening and in a few months will have happened.

I will excuse your ignorance, but the those districts have their own district commissioners and police force. In fact, there are NO AU troops in any of those districts and the government is able to work and function there.

It is amsing everytime We try to ask ourselves why our country is in a mess and on its knees, instead of discussing the isseus genuinly We get personnal and tribal and the real concern is hijacked, let us stop discussing who leads this country and concentrate on how to bring it out from the dead millions of people are misplaced and are sufering on refugees grounds and the open bush so the country needs fixing not who should lead I don't care who leads it as long as they serve all the people MAXA IGA GALAY ANIGA QABIIL, XATA WALALKAY ILA DHASHAY HADUUSAN SHAQADA KASOO BIXI KDHIN MA TAGEEREN.

I am sure it is happening Monk. I mean let's hope you don't erase this like you erased you knowing for sure "Khaliif Ciise Mudan" will be prime minister on the eve of the pick when some sites already had gotten the Farmaajo tip.
BREAKING NEWS: New Prime Minister has been chosen

Abdalla, my source is beyond accurate. It has never failed before. I guarantee this 100%. My source is a close confidant of former president A/Yusuf and is a trusted figure of the Majerteen elite.
