It will be ready by August insha allah.

Every single street, alley and main road in town is being paved, new sewage systems are being put in place, residences will now follow organized addresses, and homeowners are being encouraged to install new driveways. The future looks good.

What emotions does this photos bring out to u? TO me--- i feel this nolstagic Somali life of community and neighborhood strength. The little stores and kiosks where they have chairs outside and see a couple of odeeys sitting in relax---and communing. Yet on the bad side--the desertness of the place--the lack of life and vibrancy. Skiny tall men with baasto malnutrion bellies, their hand on their hip--looking sad and idle. No jobs, poverty and just sadness.
