Somalia should have a communist party

Postby Scarletmoon1 » Tue May 03, 2011 10:20 am

A classless/Clanless society where everyone is treated equally is the only way Somalia will ever move forward

You have rejected Islamic law and have opted for a Marxist-lenninist approach?

Communism fails for its denial of individual rights i.e. to be productive and own the fruits of your labour. Human beings generally don't function well without personal gain in anything they do, and communism denies the commoner the feeling of entitlement. There is no reward to being genius or good at anything, same with the extreme socialist ideologies, people under those systems don't see the incentive to work.

A middle ground system between capitalism and communism is the way to go where individuals can thrive but with accountability that resutls in addressing the need of the less fortunate. Freedom is good for the soul.

What I thinking is that Communism in a Somali way would be getting rid of the Clan ideology/or use it for good intentions. People these days are too busy fighting about clan and religion why not eliminate the clan ideology and state should control everything. Communism may deny some rights but still Somalia today is struggling to have a functional democratic party in place do to the fact everyone insists on ruling their own territory and isolating themselves.

We've already tried that under MSB

If you want a different approach why don't we try to do sharia law like the ICU tried, but it would be difficult to adopt fully and perfect it.

Somalis have no emotional attachment to their Land. They are deeply invested in their lineage emotionally. Controlling them will come at a cost, many of them will die for their clan. They are easy to manipulate when it comes to their clan. Their focus will be on the lineage of who is going to rule them rather than what that leader can do for Somalia. If you scrutinize the comments written on the forums, you will realize EVEN Islam(which they claim they adhere to) is just secondary to their clan emotions. Siday yihiin aa u fiican hadda soomaalida, devided and prostitutes to Zenawi.
