men who are close to their mothers or even family, why? am not sure I understand, I thought this was something praise worthy if a man is actually tight with his family no?

Not really....
If his momma is cool than there should be no problem. Sometimes, the mothers will show a jealous side to their future daughter in-law. The daughter in laws tend to pick up on things a lot quicker than the HUSBAND. I just hope I end up with a man who has a cool ass momma cuz I'm not a big fan of xin and backbiting. I have other things to do with my spare time!
