One of Somali parliament members on Tuesday vehemently condemned the Ethiopian forces for arresting Somali officials including one parliamentarian weeks ago.

Speaking to Shabelle, a local radio station based in Mogadishu, Adam Ibrahim Dhayow, a Somali lawmaker, said it is deplorable Ethiopia to commit such action against Somali government officials.

He said that they don't know the reason behind Ethiopian troops' step to apprehend them as they were hectic in doing their daily national duties.

The lawmaker revealed that officials from Gedo, Bay and Bakool regions were already in Ethiopian custody in Dolow district for unknown reasons.

He called for the transitional government of Somalia to help release those officials in Ethiopia hands soon.

Sovereign
1. Self-governing; independent: a sovereign state.
One that exercises supreme, permanent authority, especially in a nation.

The prime minister would love to say something about this but the lion (Ethiopia) has a tight grip on his neck. He chose diplomacy over confrontations and forced retirement. He is saying let's fight them (the lion) another day.
