IF THE DIASPORA INVESTED MORE IN :som:
The Diaspora in the West are poor, Somali Millionaires are made in Africa Specially East Africa.

Take for example Somali Owned Multi_Million Dollar City Oil franchise in Uganda. It's a franchise so you can buy the company name and products start up is $100,000

The hotel looks mervelous but it is located in a wrong location.

If only the guy had invested in posh areas of Nairobi like Lavington,Runda, Muthaiga,Kileleshwa I do beleive they would have got a lot of wealthy customers or even Hurlinghum area.

I mean to be honest who would want to go to a place where when you open windows the stench of the sewer gets into your nose or seeing slums that cover the horizon?

The other problem is this investor only looked at one niche that is Somalis and there are alot of other groups that are filty loaded ranging from the Arabs, locals, foreign expertriates.

Much better if this was built somewhere in Somalia. I can't get excited some building in Kenya, Tanzania or Uganda. I don't care.

what the heck!!!

Somali-prepared services are always not complete. i went to their website to see how much they charge for a night and all they have is pictures of some rooms and other irrelevant stuff.

is there anyone who has any idea how much they charge for a night?

if the price is reasonable, i am sold. i think the hotel is intricately designed and it will suite well for my upcoming three-month long trip to Nairobi.
