Melo is a reformed mooriyan who occasionally goes to the local masjid study circle and has developed a holier than thou attitude towards people. He tries to sound so intellectual and informed, but he’s impressing no one and has lost all legitimacy when he praised warlord and ex employer aided as a man fighting on the side of Islam.Union, is an undergrad (most likely studying arts) who read a few intro philosophical works (OMG, WHATS TRUTH? ) and was conned into believing that he has a understanding of reality. He cannot go beyond the paradigm of Liberalism and secularism, fooling himself into believing he is objective, and able to "think for himself", whilst devout Muslims are limited by superstition AKA believing the Quran and Xadith. What this sad house nigga, does not understand, is that these principles he champions will lead to destruction.

It’s national institutions are gone, its sovereignty nonexistent, its real leaders sit in New York and Addis Ababa, and what little natural resources it had have been long shipped off to foreign lands at bargain prices. As for religion, what good is a religion that is only theoretical in nature? Islam says do not lie, do not kill, do not be corrupt nor take what is not yours, but do any Somali people actually follow this? Not many. And what good are Islamic courts if they have no ability to bring meaningful law and order to a society?

I actually think Union is more closer to being a true Muslim than Melo could ever hope. What Melo knows and how he uses it reminds me of the prophet said there will come a time when there are people who pray more than you, are in the mosques more than you, know doctrine better than you but the faith and essence of the faith will never pass their throat to their heart.

All the military orgs involved in the overthrowing of MSB, were justified humanely and religiously. MSB was a communist, who rejected Islam and its laws, mocking them in the process. He was murdering people left right and centre. We do not judge people's intentions. We judge by what is apparent. Jihaad in one of its form, is to speak up against a tyrant. MSB was no normal tyrant, as he was an apostate tyrant also. Any Muslim, who stood up to fight this man, on the apparent was fighting for a justified cause. Watch how Nobleman and other truly religious people behave. That is only the surface of showcasing your hypocrisy; it would drag me into an essay to explain your misuse or lack of knowledge about Islamic doctrine to shatter your use of religion to legitimize a heinous, anti-Islamic criminal rebellion that was training children to be dependent on hashiish and qamri to dampen their humanity to commit inhumane crimes even before they got to Mogadishu.
