My job might need me to change my hours and come in like @ 6am. The place is like 45 min away which mins I'd have to wakeup like 4:30 am everyday. Did any of You Guys ever have a job Where You have to wake up that early everyday and if so How did You adjust?

Not for an extended period of time. Had to go in early a couple of times, because we were having a conference call with customers over seas. But other than that never.

I would suggest go to sleep earlier and make shaydaanbucks your friend

Waking up at 4:30 it must be a heck of a job.

Sometimes when I'm doing day shift, I'd wake up at 5:45, but that is the earliest I had to wake up for job, except when I was doing my clinical.

You guys are fukin' lazy. I had to wake up at 5AM EVERYDAY for school. Sometimes I even have to wake up at 4:30AM if there was something special at school.

You won't ever miss another Fajr prayer , There is a tranquility pre Sunrise, minimal sounds besides the morning songs of sparrows and nightingales. Thoughts are pure and there is an illumination anyone that has winter blues should try wakingup before dawn.

You don't pray Fajr? that is what Fajr is for, so you don't become lazy and sleep in everyday. there is a wisdom in everything we do in Islam.

But its all getting used to, if you do it the first week, the next week you will wake-up without alarm. all you need to do is sleep early, but if you are insomanic and sleep after 12am or later, than it won't work.

Well i had a summer job and we had to start every monday at 4.30 AM, i worked there for tw months and never ever did i start on time. I always arrived two hours later, they didnt fire me because i was 18 and therefore cheap labour

Yep.I remember i slept only 4 hours evry night when i was doing my dayshift.My work was one hour away, imagin loosing 2 hours everyday on the road.Damn it was tough but i loved my co-workers and did't want work anywhere els.You will get used to it...i remember i used wake up at 5 every morning to get ready.Soomalida waxay tiraah nin aan shaqaysan shaah ma cabo.

Dee I go back to sleep until around 8 am. Thats almost 3 hours of sleep.

That's going to be my schedule for the whole summer.

While everyone I know will be off & enjoying their vacation, I'll be doing my internship from 7am-4pm, then from 6pm-11pm, sometimes doing a stretch of 36 hour rotations. I'll probably be relying on caffeine pills and a lot of excedrine. Sleep will be a much appreciated old friend. I can't wait for August.

during my internship sometimes i had to wake up 4am or sometimes work till 10pm to fix some server problems

It seems that everyone that has done it, has done it for short time periods or plans to do it for short time periods. I'm talking about for like a extended period like years.
