CARMO (ARMO) POLICE ACADEMY!!!!

I had the privilege and honor to visit this academy today! Images will be on display in the next 24 - 48 hours. This place can be used to train thousands of recruits while Uganda, Kenya and Djibouti are being given such contracts! It looks like the above mentioned countries are closer to Sheik Sharif and co than beautiful Armo Academy and Puntland

Reer Pland should demand a real voice (or at least strong lobby group) in Mogadishu!

No offense but Rer Puntland would mistreat the trainees. Plus aren't TFG officials banned from Puntland ????

lol - awahab, this place used to be the main training camp for TFG police for a long time. Abdiqaybdid was de facto ruler and appointed guys who ran the place.

lol@aw. Geedi was quoted as sayin "why did the lie to us" when he came to Garowe and Bosaso. He said they told us so many horrible things about pland. I am saying instead of taking our boys to Kampala why not advocate for beautiful Armo. Somalis need their cut of this massive UN project.

let talk in facts , the problem that TFG (hawiya) dont want to come to puntland for clan matters so no matter you said to them, before they refuse pirate fighting budget to build it in puntland and training somali marines and accept to build it in Djibouti ...!!!!

AWAHAB, if you come back to this thread I would like to know if u support Galmudug. If yes, ask them if they receive $$$ from Puntland administration regularly and see what they tell you.

I think you are taking about the same one. Qardo was one of the bidders and front runner but Armo was awarded @ the end.

markuus, the second image looks pretty much like Armo Ac. I will post some pics in the coming days. I can see the 1st building is just outside of Qardho. It could be the prison or another training camp. I'll find it out....
