Falfaliir is my favorite cambuulo hands down. They take the aduki beans, bake them using sand like peanuts, then use mooy & kal to get the skin off, kadib waa la haatin jiray, to get the husk off and then cooked the same way as any cambuulo. My grandmother used to make it. Served with some sesame oil and sugar, maybe even some oodkac.

Not a fan of salbuko. Misir & moordi are also good.

Allahu naxariisto my grandmother, she knew good food. Cabdalle Sabdi, Reer Ceel Buur. She was actually from Bargaan which is near Galhareeri. :clap:

Waraa my eedo used to make that for me when i was sent to Xamar as dhaqan celis. :lol:

I miss the taste of beer and canjeero. I even miss the burjiko and dhuxul they were using to cook. Fascinating stuff.
