My mother is obsessed with me!

Sometimes I feel like I'm not 'perfect' enough for my mother. she literally tries to doll me up all the time. She tells me to wear high heels instead of flats, she tells me to do my hair a certain way when going somewhere instead of the way I want, she tells me to dress a certain way, wear my scarf a certain way, she says that I should walk like this and not like that, she loves it when I'm driving a beautiful car...and if anything happens to the car, she suddendly hates it until my next car, she calls me every second if I'm still out by 12am, she wants me to be girly girly...and hates when I bring out my tom boying side (which I have), she reminds me to exfoliate my face (haha which I sometimes forget), she gets really mad at me when I don't take care of my hair. She is very nice...but most of the time...its HER WAY and NOT mine, which irritates me cause I'm freaking 24 years old

Are you the youngest out of all your siblings? if so it's makes sense her being obsessed with you and not your older siblings. As most mothers feel they have more mothering & love to give to their youngest children even though they might be 20+.

lol war kir iyo kut!!! I'm the eldest of all my siblings....and I feel like its time that my parents let go of me...I don't need their attention any more...the younger ones do. Sometimes, markii wax la sameenaayo ama wax la keeno...my siblings do not conflict with me about it because they know that I will always get the first choice....they know my parents (especially my mother) will consider me first...so they don't even try at all
