I have a cousin that was the oldest of two boys and she used to complain about the attention her mother was giving her often and not her 2 young brothers.
When she was about your current age she left the country for six months to work for my uncle in Africa. When she got back she got married and moved to another State. A year later she had a baby and moved back to live right next door to her hooyo.
To put it mildly she's obsessed with her mother now. The tables have surely turned

Here in Australia by 21 you are finished university and in the work for at 22. That’s if you are doing 3 years degree which is the majority but even if you did 4 or 5 year degree you are finished the latest 23 years old without failing any subjects of course. Heck you can do a double degree which is fours years and be done at 22!

And I thought the Australian education system needed to cut some years in high school.

Already one university in Australian adopted the American system two years ago and its only a matter of time others will follow. I guess education has become a profitable business
