Geeljire lifestyle is too demanding and nomadic for the likes of me. Once you're accostumed to the lifestyle out west it's complicated adjusting to anyother lifestyle.

Do any of you guys know the history behind "Lama Goodle" ama "Faradheer"???? The names Reer Xamar (Gibil Cad all together) and Eelay gave the rest of Somalis?? hahaha its funny.

Yes true....see the thing is these Cadcads lived in Xamar and surrounding areas way before abgaals arrived with their two sheets....they looked a bit different and didn't know what to call them. Markaas bay yiraahdeen "Lama Goodle"...and since other Somalis talk with their fingers as if indhaha inee kaa galin doonaan....they said "Faradheer" loool it doesn't make sense to me but that is what I heard.....I mean how the hell did they learn to speak Af Somali if they were not in contact with them to begin with :?

It is a fascinating lifestyle and I can imagine huge responsibility on the males to make important decisions for the whole family (including extended family), decisions such as: where the best pastures are; and if it is safe to stay there.
