Personaly I do not think there is reason for any Somali to look back fondly on civil war and dismantling of the Country.
Actually, this thread was never about that. AW252 used that photo in one of the other threads mistaking the guy to be one of Aideed's militias and I posed the actual source to poke fun at AW252's ignorance. Voltage came in and made a fascinating comment claiming that Abgaal have no warrior culture. If some people turn the discussion into a different angle away from its purpose, then they should be blamed for it.

I just signed in and didn't see the other threads. Besides this wasn't directed at You or anyone inparticular but I just had a feeling the thread might turn into one of those senseless My clan killed this many x people, so is more macho than You, etc.

Btw, AW252 was born and raised in Kenya. The closest He ever got to experiencing the war was When Caydiid famously gave Him a tufaax

LMAO@ Tufaax comment

AW252 is a good friend, saaxib and I am certain there is nothing offensive about this thread but a clarification of a mistake he made. Some-people are inherently insecure, though; and they will use this thread to sneak some random comments aimed at perverting the discussion.

Not really, I am just astounded at your reason for being "proud" about this.

All I see is a young kid who should be out playing soccer after middle school classes, standing in front of a decayed old Russian tank, with cheapest pair of sunglasses and hand me down clothes, holding on to a rusty firearm. Where exactly is the pride and adoration of this?

What Paidmonk said is exactly my point. Abgaal are generally known as peaceful, cosmopolitan people who had some of the least clan obsessions in the country. You would be better off celebrating qualities such as that.

My countrymen and I have every right to talk about whatever.

I just don't understand what motivates foreigners like you.

Dont try and be clever. Your a simple tribalist whos whole thinking is driven and shaped by the superority of one tribe over another. Why else would you enter a topic between two tribes men and friends and claim the moral high ground when you support a warlord today in 2011. :D

Wallahi Abgal, specifically wacsyle wa gob gob sashay. However the Mudlood share a bed with the Mijeteens.

We should form a relationship with our common ilkoyars from the south. They talk alot but truth be told can fight and are honest. Thats under one condition, they renounce afweynism and agree to unite behind Godane..
