The Nile dispute is perhaps one of the main reasons why the Somali civil war is perpetuated by outside influences (trying to destabilize Ethiopia).

Egypt gimmicks are over they can pull all antics they want but the Nile will be controlled by the source countries. we can divert that river to friendly countries and build massive dams. should Egypt dare us militarily let them know we can crush them faster than the 6 day war of Israel. Nile belongs to the Bantu Swahili States of east and central Africa, plus Ethiopia. we are ready, our armies have been training hard,Burundi,Uganda already are fit due to their amisom status,Kenya and Tanzania we have our guns aimed at Cairo, Rwanda and Congo also are battle hardened. can Egypt defeat SEVEN(7) countries with an army of over 700,000 thousand 3,000 tanks,15,000 artillery 1000 aircraft and 3 navies????

^ Egypt (SUDAN & ERITREA) would crush the Africans in few days.. with amore sophisticated & well trained ARMY, NAVY & AIRFORCE..

It's understandable that EGYPT & Sudan feels threatened because they have no other water supply & it's understandable that Africans need development but what I don't get is African's Rejecting Treaties from the Colonial Era while upholding Borders marked by the Same Colonial Powers.. lol

very smart answer, but egypt and its sidekick sudan and eritrea need to come to the table we negotiate a solution. kenya alone CAN OBLITERATE ANY COUNTRY within eastern and horn. with 7 SWAHILI STATES sudan, eritrea and egypt would be wiped in biblical magnitude. but babygirl just change your avatar its already in use. i suggest you put a flower instead.

bantuga waa lagu quraacan lahaa

I think egypt and sudan rely on the nile more than the other countries, without it they would be an extension of the saxara desert.

@ciyaal-warta,congo alone is the size of western europe and the 2nd most largest country in africa. egypt has never won any war, they were wiped out and humiliated by tiny israel size of djibouti. so they can not worry us. as for the NFD it was occupied by bantu people before somalis came. thats why its forever ours. so somaliweyn will be without NFD and am sure ogaden is a mirage too brother
