Haha, wishful thinking! Dude, your ancestors came from Cameroon, all historians/anthropologists agree on this, you can't deny this. Do you even know there are Cushites living much more South than you people, like for example the Iraqw in Tanzania! The entire region from Eritrea to Tanzania used to be Cushitic before the Bantu came.

The Somalis had retaken all the land lost to Borana ,,,,
The Warday (Orma) are part of Cushatic people, Warday have their own language
The Ormaa speak Afaan Oromo, same dialect as the Booran with a very little differnces.

Warday language is known as Af-warday, its are part of Cushatic not Oromo.

East africa is a mix of cushatic tribes each with their own unique language, these somali tribes, (rendilnle, garre, debarre, tunni, boon, Jiiddu all have their own dialect) The Garre language is also known as Af-garre. It is reported to be linguistically close to Boni, a Rendille-Boni language.

the only close relationship between somaalis and Galla people later named as (oromo) are both Cushitic-speaking people .

The name Oromo itself is very recent made name, throw the history people who call themselves today as Oromos they use to be called their real name whichs GALLA. today modern Oromos sees their name of Origin Galla as derogatorily name.

Dr yallaxow, oromos never called themselves galla!
some oromos used to be offuscated when refered to as galla.
but now our selfconfidence is beyond that
u can call us watever u want, my little bantu friend from the wild exotic south :rose:

Warday speak af-warday and boran speak af-boran

How do you count from 1 to 10 in Af-warday ? I know the warday count differently than Boran/oromo

bareento actually its true that Oromo name is very recent political name.
The name GALLA is much older because of all people who were neighbours of Oromos. such as Habesha, Somalis and AFAR all of them refer oromos as Galla people. so it must be Galla as your real and original name.

about Bantu? yes bareento is true that we skinnies(somaalis) have phobia of our brothers bantus. we see our bantu brothers as little bit inferior than than us, same way as AMHARAS(HABESHA) Sees you galla people(oromos) in ethiopia as inferior than the Aristocratic habeshas.

About Bantu phobia which most somalis suffer, i as southern somali we are different than my fellow somalis from northern part of somalia. we south somalis hawiye somaali we see soomaali bantus as our closest brothers.

About inferiority complex?? I heard in Ethiopia when a GALLA person(oromo) becomes wealthy person or wanna succeed in ethiopian society, the Galla(oromo) changes hes ethinicty to AMHARA(HABESH) because galla is not aristocratic enough.

the Galla Oromos in ethiopia love to be associated with HABESHAS(amharas) while AMHARAS hate to be mistaken that he or she is Oromo(galla), same way as skinnies(somalis) hate to be mistaken by bantus.
so my GALLA BROTHER i see nothing wrong that your people take back their original name Galla people of horn of Africa.
