Sh. Maxamed Idris has done more for the Somali community than these imbeciles poking fun at him ever did. They hate his guts because he said the Alshabaab ideology does not benefit anyone and violence against fellow Muslims is unacceptable. He just got back from South Africa where he took part in the opening of an Islamic academy and mosque. There was a brawl at Abu bakar mosque in Mpls a few nights ago when he tried to talk to the members about what supporting Alshabaab's violent ideolgies means. A group of pro-shabaab men stood up and hurled insults at him, then someone turned off the lights and the Sheikh, Sh. Abdirahman and a few others were assaulted. If they support Alshabaab, they should join them in Somalia, not enjoy life here in the West, getting fat off their asses and cheering for them like this is a football team.
