To Oliveoil: The donation are not being given here. Just donate anywhere you are comfortable with

give us its name, the amount so we can tally as well as encourage others to do the same.. Most of you are willing to pay top bucks to go see the latest hollywood movie so you can fill the pockets of arrogant corrupt individuals but you are unwilling to walk the walk and help poor Muslims.

For the last time, please read the opening statements before jumping the gun.

Here are the simple rules again:

1.) Find a charity organization you feel comfortable with

2.) Donate whatever amount is within your means

3.) Post the charity organization name, link, and the amount here to encourage others

4.) If you have already donated, go ahead and follow what #3 says

5.) Whenever someone does donate an amount, the following individual to post a comment will tally so as to keep a running total

I'm looking to do something inshaAllah, to raise some money. Me, my sister, her friend and anyone else we can get, not too sure what we are going to do. I said we should just contact an Islamic aid relief and go to masjids collect money, maybe cook something and also sell that. If we do that in several masjids, big ones, we can collect hundreds of pounds.

Maybe several of you lot can also do something like this in your cities. InshaAllah.

If you use your resources well, you can even get your non-Somali; non-Muslim friends to donate for this cause. That is basically what I have done.

Me and my buddies collected about $1,200 for the draughts over the weekend, anyone that is looking for a safe place to send the money contact with your local Xawaalad Al mustaqbal they opened free of charge Account that will send the money direct to local NGOs working inside somalia, also I heard Xawaalada Dahabshiil opened similar account, Somali Xawaalas are faster than any other Organization out there.

The draughts exists all over the Horn of Africa, but in Somalia southern regions that depended on rain fed farms did not got enough rain for the last couple of years, this resulted farms drying up and Cattle dying in the tens of thousands some places completely all the cattle died and people don’t have nothing to eat.

Trust me this self-confessed Al Shabab supporter will simply ship the little money that is donated to Al Shabab. No Thank You, I rather donate to Oxfam and other Aid Agencies than to a front organization initiated by known Al Shabab agents

I thought people ought to know your background before they naively contributed to your Al Shabab Donation Drive

Below is all that I have posted for all to see.

No money is actually being collected by anyone on Snet. Just people donate anywhere, and post how much here. Now please
