Are you guys saying that women should not wear anything that makes them look pretty when they step outside their doors?

*Not talking about revealing clothes*

Is being/looking pretty cawra or is your skin/shape of your body cawra?

If a girl wears a pretty maxi dress with a pretty hijaab is she revealing her cawra? Is she committing a sin?

Bv

Some shiekhs say it's obligtory some say it's sunnah.Cala kuli xaal skip that part, a woman can only make herselv beautiful to her husband only when they're home.Outside she should be invisible so her beauty doesnt attract others, same thing when you're single.Isha kugu dhacaysa ba la diidan yahy.

Ask ur QS to a caalim.

Take all of it or none of it is my motto.

My question to the nick above was just to know where they were coming from.

^^ Most pple who do not like it are the once who hardly cover themselves..they feel so gulity whenever they see a covered girl.

I don't think that is the case with me Helwaa...Shirib has seen my pics...I'm sure he is aware that I do cover myself like an average Somali girl with my goono and qimaar! :P

That thing?

But seriously OO, that doesn't look good coming from a Muslim person.

Muslims are still struggling with constant bashing from Non Muslims in the west so it's not wise to go with the mob and bash Muslims too.

You might not see it as an important part of Muslim female dress but the ones who wear it have their own reasons.

I JUST DO NOT like the niqaab...I think its unnecessary to wear it especially in a country like this. How is she going to be able to find a job? This is simply my OWN opinion...not following the opinions of the Gaalo for I do NOT care what they think or believe.
Also, I'm not bashing the Muslims, I have no reason to...I'm a Muslim myself...was brought in a Muslim environment...I have respect for my diin. But I do not have respect for those that follow the Wahabism sect or whatever it is! :ugeek:

OliveOil,

why do you not like people who wear it?

Shiribow, I don't think it is important walaal. I have came across many sisters that wear the niqaab with an ugly personality and inside...shouldn't they be really good Muslims in order to wear that? Shouldn't their imaan be strong to wear that? Also, I don't like Wahaab ku sheega!!! Simple

You edmited urself nothing i made up.Cala kuli xaal niqaab is beautiful and every woman is free to dress how she wants, the end of the day what matters is what Allah swt think of them.

However you feel about it you should keep it to urself for ur own sake.

I have a family member who wore it. There was a guy who was on his motorcycle when he saw me cousin driving her car in her niqaab. He was staring at her to the point where he crashed. She parked the car, got out, then stood over him and asked "Are you OK?". He was fine, luckily nothing big happened but he replied by saying "You speak fluent English too?"

When she told me, I was literally DYING of laughter. I was on the floor of our kitchen Wallahi!
