A Day with Bosaso's Street Kids [Photos]

Postby Monk-of-Mogadishu » Tue Jul 19, 2011 3:57 pm

http://horseedmedia.net/2011/07/19/carr ... yaysawiro/
Waxaa maalmihii ugu dambeeyay magaalada Boosaaso ee xarunta gobolka Bari kusoo badanaya carruurta yar yar ee ku dhibaataysan wadooyinka, kuwaasi oo kasoo cararaya colaadaha ka taagan koonfurta dalka Soomaaliya.

Carruurta ayaa ah kuwa si joogto ah ugu soo badanaya magaalada Boosaaso iyo hareeraha wadooyinka qaarkood iyadoona carruurta xiligan ay haysato dhibaatooyin xoogan oo dhanka nolosha iyo hoy la’aan baahsan.

Carruurta oo da’doodu ay ka yar tahay 10-sano jir ayaa waxaa badankood waalidiintood ku waayeen dagaalada sokeeye ee kasocda qaybo ka mid ah koonfurta dalka Soomaaliya, waxaana qaar ka mid ah ay kasoo jeedaan qoysas dan yar ah oo aan awood u lahayn inay heleen nolol maalmeedkooda.

Saciid Cali oo ka yar 5-sano jir oo ka mid ah carruurta dabi jiifka ee ku sugan magaalada Boosaaso ayaa waxaan kula kulmay agagaarka isbitaalka wayn ee magaalada Boosaaso xili uu cabayay koolada loogu tala galay in lagu sameeyo alwaaxyada iyo alaabta kale duwan oo ay bulshada xirtaan sida kabaha taasi oo u horseedi karta caafimaad xumo, waxaana xiligaasi uu ii sheegay inay haysato dhibaatooyin xoogan oo dhanka nolosha.

“….Aniga iyo saxiibaday waxaan cunaa cuntooyinka dadka ay reebaan waxana seexana kabarada qaadka, dadka hutelada iska leh waxaan kala kulanaa dhibaato weyn mararka qaar way nadilaan markaan soogalo gudaha hotelka ”ayuu yiri Saciid Cali oo ka mid ahaa carrurta darbi jiifka ee Bosaaso.

Mar Horseed Media ay weydiisay halka ay ku dambeeyaan waalidiintiisa ayaa waxaa uu sheegay in hooyadiis ay ku sugantahay magaalada Baladwayne, aabihiisana uu ku suganyahay magaalada Muqdisho, waxaana uu sheegay hadii ay halaan cid damaanad qaada noloshooda iyo waxbarashadooda ay diyaar u yihiin inay faraha kala baxaan dhibaatooyinka waxyaabaha maanka dooriya oo ay adeegsadaan.

Gudoomiyaha nabadoonada gobolka Bari Cabdiqaadir Axmed Ibraahi Xarago oo booqday goobaha ay carruurtan isugu yimaadaan oo ah agagaarka isbitaalka wayn ee magaalada Boosaaso ayaa waxaa uu baaq u jeediyay ganacsatada, culimada diinta, haydaha samafalka iyo maamulka Puntland isagoona ka codsaday inay u soo gurmadaan carruurta dhibaataysan ee ku sugan magaalada Boosaaso.

Waxaa uu sheegan nabadoonka in bulshada looga baahanyahay inay wax u qabtaan carruurta dhibaataysan, hadii aan loo gurman ay keeni karto musiibo banii’danimo oo ka dhacda dalka Soomaaliya.

“Anaga sanadkii tagay waxaan badbaadinay in ka badan 40-Carruur ah oo ku dhibataysnaa magaalada xiligaa waxay ahayeen darbi jiif iyo koolo dhuuq, lakiin maanta waxay noqdeen qura’aan dhuux”ayuu yiri nabadoon Xarago oo intaasi raciyeey in caruurtan ay maalinba maalinta ka danbaysa ay soo badanayaan.

Si kastaba, majirto cid katirsan dowladda Puntland, ganacstada iyo hay’adaha oo xiligan xil iska saartay wax u qabashada carruurta Soomaaliyeed ee ku dhibaataysan wadooyinka magaalada Boosaaso.

Local leaders have made strong efforts to end this lifestyle and managed to put 40 kids in quranic boarding schools in the past year, the new governor of the region and the state itself has limited resources and is forced to resort to soliciting money from religious leaders, NGOs and businesses. This is reason #1 that I'm praying for oil underneath the ground, the situation of the urban poor in cities like Bosaso is a shame for Puntland, and funds from oil would pretty much put an end to poverty altogether as opposed to the hundred years it would take to alleviate the estimated 350,000 IDPs in the state as well as its impoverished rural communities. Somalia needs this oil more than ever.
