i remember a time when yahoo was the go to search engine and everyone had ICQ, and napster. that seems like a long time ago, but that was when the internet was just emerging.

Windows 95 machine. Netzero dial-up disks (as well as others). E-Baums world. Stick Death. Altavista. Candystand. ICQ. Yahooligans. Napster. Napster. Napster.

yea altavista, there was a lot more search engines back then. i cant say i used them for education purposes only.

Yahoo! Games (still have/know my username from 12+ years ago), GeoCities (as well as those Yahoo! DIY pages. Forget the name.), discovery of emulators/ROMS (I'd spend literally days trying to download a 3mb ROM lol).

I remember being in my room online chatting or doing whatever and someone picking up the phone downstairs and being disconnected, then I'd be yelling from the top of the stairs "dhiga telephonka, computerkaan isticmaalayaaye"...those were the days of dial-up and free AOL cd's :lol:

the dial up days. most frustrating thing ever especially if you have a mother and sisters that love talking on the phone.
