In comparison to Somalia or any other African nation, Somaliland receives peanuts. What little it receives is used to build a democratic peaceful nation surrounded by chaos.

This certainly makes more sense.

Are you serious dude? How was this link in anyway relevant to what you said? Did you even go through the link or you thought just posting it would give you legitimacy?

In the link I posted it shows Somalia including Somaliland gets 32 million in humanitarian aid, it receives little to nothing in bilateral aid which is the point of the article. A country like Ethiopia receives 151 million pounds in bilateral Aid and it has a dictator for president, Somaliland recieves a fraction of that and is a beacon of democracy.

You get the message Mr Voltage

Somaliland recieves foriegn aid. how else do you think it survives? its a small region with no economy. but the foriegn aid comes in the form of Somalia not through the name of Somaliland.
Even UNHCR has an office there. and the European Union, UK and America have special financial Aid they give to Somaliland.

Eritrea was a unique case..

it not only won independance on the battlefield, they went on to conquer ethiopia and placed thier bi-tches the TPLF on the seat and made them sign away recognition at gunpoint...

the equivalanet would be for south sudan to conquer Khartoum and force bashir to sign,, or somaliland to take moqadishu and force watever TFG version 20-30 to sign

Somaliland can do that if it had the political will to do it.

1991 was concievable, if we backed any of the major factions e.g aideeds...

today no way...

and its not in Isaaqs political culture we are the most anarchic clan, even more than the Hawiye
and we believe in balance of power and the rights...

so even if we could we would not do it...
we would prefer to cooperate with others..
