A referendum will decide that ceous, one man-one ballot vote.
I see. What is your personal opinion?
It depends on whats on offer, I'll make a pragmatic decision....Mogadishu or Jigjiga.

Do not forget the thousands upon thousands of Somalis that died freeing kilika5aad in the 77 war. We lost men, 2/3 of the army equipment and our economy was almost shattered. Somalia became weaker because of our Nationalism. Wallahi i support the struggle in the Ogaden. But if i see the Ogaden clan selfishly trying to get indipendence and destroy the greater Somalia dream. Then wallahi forget the ethiopians, xamar will hunt you down. Inshallah ONLF futtada laga wasaaya if they resort to tribalist thinking instead of Nationalism and Somali unity.

^ Of coarse this is a Somali cause not a Ogadeen clan one and as I said the Somalis of this region will vote on there future because this is what the struggle was about "free will", even after 77 that was the position of the Barre regime from irredentism because this was a disaster to assisting the indigenous struggle which was the formula that should have been used prior to 77 so from this the inhabitants would be given the option to join Somalia via referendum, the standard course of action.Whatever Somalia lost, the inhabitants lost 10X that amount. The Political, Social and Economic impact of the Ogaden joining Somalia must be looked at before any decision can be taken, perhaps even the Somali government of the day would rather not burden a politically sensitive country with such a large geographical addition which could bring its own problem. Its all a decision for the people of the day.

The greater somali flag wasnt created so it can look good. It was supposed to be realised. There is a absolutly nothing good coming out of indipendent kilika5ad wich is landlocked and has no ifrastructure. Joining somalia is the only option, unless you rather stay with the xabash. It is in the interest of Onlf to change name to WSLF.

Its not as simple as you put it.

If Somalia is a united Country, I am all for it but if the status quo continues or the situation deteriorates then unity becomes difficult. If Somalia is ready and willing like Siyad Barre, Greater Somalia :som:

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

It’s not the world. It’s the US. And they don’t care about Assab, or badme or any of that. They’re doing a little arm twisting to get Eritrea to cooperate in their global conquest. In other words, it’s blackmail.

I saw the documentary the EPRDF released about the so called car bomb plot which was supposed “turn addis ababa into Baghdad”. It was a comedy. According to the documentary, Isayas gave the OLF an assignment to create havoc in addis on the day of the summit. When things didn’t go as planned, Isayas made an agitated phone call to the bombers demanding “Whats taking so long!? Blow something up!” lol Reinforcing the theory among “Ethio patriots” that Isayas is a mad man alcoholic with a short temper.
Ethiopian intelligence officials uncovered the plot to set off multiple bombs in Addis Ababa at the AU summit, an event typically attended by more than 30 African leaders, in January this year.

The UN report said all but one of the people arrested received all their training and orders directly from Eritrean officers. The other detainee was also in regular contact with an Ethiopian rebel group, the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF).

"Although ostensibly an OLF operation, it was conceived, planned, supported and directed by the external operations directorate of the Government of Eritrea, under the leadership of General Te'ame," the report said.

The equipment seized included C4 plastic explosives in food sacks, gas cylinders, detonators and a sniper rifle.

General Te'ame told one of the plotters that the plan was to make "Addis Ababa like Baghdad", according to the report.

However, in an interview with UN investigators, one of the men arrested, Omar Idriss Mohamed, said the aim was not to kill African leaders but to show them that Ethiopia was not safe.

"By so doing, some people may start to listen to what Eritrea is saying about Ethiopia. Some Arab States will be sympathetic to this view," he was quoted as saying.

According to the UN report, Omar is an OLF member who was approached by the Eritrean security services though Colonel Gemachew. Omar, who visited Eritrea in 2009 and 2010, became the Addis team leader for the plot.

The UN report included a letter from Romania confirming a sniper rifle found in the possession of one of the bomb plotters had been sold to Eritrea in 2004.

The report included payment slips to the plotters in Addis Ababa through money transfers. The plotters told the UN that an Eritrean colonel had arranged for the transfers via intermediaries in Sudan and Kenya.

Ethiopia routinely accuses Eritrea of supporting rebel groups. Zenawi, the prime minister, declared in April that his country would support Eritrean guerrillas fighting to overthrow Isaias Afewerki, the Eritrean president.

Them echoing this story is just a form of blackmail.

Its no suprise the un is behind ethiopia since its the only western lapdog in the region. Whatever war happens between the two tigray states, onlf must use it to its own benefit. Its time for ogaden somalis to show that they can pull this off without somalia support. Meles days are soon over anyway, i would say may that shithole find destruction.

its time for kenya and ethiopia to invade and occupy eritrea. afewerki will face the IGAD court of justice.kenya navy can deploy in gulf of aden waters in 5days and launch a naval invasion while our dear and eternal brothers the ethiopians can invade from the south.
A ridiculous statement to say the least. Kenya is a nobody and only good at sitting on its white master's lap, Eritria would make mince meat of your armed forces, if you can call them that in the first place.

As for the raw meat eater Ethiopia, well they have shown throughout history that they are a bunch of cowards. Never won a war without receiving foreign help.

The day Somalia frees itself of puppet leaders will come inshallah. That day we will face off, Somalia & Eritria on 1 side, Kenya & Ethiopia on the other (with the white man in front of them of course). That day we will rout you with no mercy.
