Protecting Hijacked Threads

Postby caburiye1 » Mon Aug 01, 2011 12:21 pm

Mods,

what is the rule here.

a gentleman post a thread about a great Somali soccer legend who is suffering In Somalia. " No one should be proud of Somalia". The Intention was to bring What somalia has done to its heroes In Light. Some Lunatics come In and take the whole thread to another direction. The thread get moved to the Insulting Section. What can we do to Protect the threads of Genuine decent Forumers whose Intention is Hijacked?. it is like posting a thread about Islam, Someone comes in and start bringing Christianity in it. Now the thread get moved to the christian section.

what do you think?

Simple really, just report the post, but if it's too late and the thread was already turned into a qabil, the mods will move it to the appropriate section. So it all depends on the thread starter, if you want your thread clean of qabiil and to stay on subject, you gotta report the first qabiil post.

Thanks sister. Sometimes the forumer just post something then leaves. Coming to find his thread in a bad place the next day with 70 comments about something else. When I came to check on my thread today, I was so delighted to find 62 postings but When I checked it, not even one was related to what the post was. The whole thing was " labo gabdhood oo isdagaalaayo".
