U should worry more about xabashada in Puntland. Xamar belongs to Hawiye so let them be instead of wishing war among them. Leave them alone

Your views don't matter. The ppl of Xamar made a choice so keep watever bad feelings u have for them to urself. For example, we don't wish death and destruction on ur lands, shouldn't u be decent enough to return the favor?

Al-Shabaab Deserts Second Somali Town

Fighters from the al-Shabaab insurgent group have deserted the strategic district of El-Bur in Galgaduud region in Somalia on Saturday, a day after they vacated from the capital of Mogadishu.

Residents of El-Bur told Somali Report that they witnessed more than 15 military vehicles leaving the village and heading towards Hiiraan region.

“17 vehicles carrying the militia left El-Bur and they went towards Hirraan,” said Yonis Owke, a resident in El-Bur.

Residents said most of militia members who left the district are from the clans in Bay, Bakool, Lower and Middle Jubba regions.

An official from the pro-government Ahlu Sunna wal Jamaa (ASWJ) militia group, Sheikh Mohamed Hussein, confirmed that El-Bur is out of al-Shabaab hands and that ASWJ was planning to take control of the town within hours.

“The time of al-Shabaab is over. They tried to hide themselves among the civilians, but now the heroes of ASWJ are going to El-Bur and the rest of Galgaduud districts to make sure al-Shabaab is gone,” he said.

The spokesman of al-Shabaab, Sheikh Ali Mohamud Rage, told a pro-al-Shabaab radio station on Saturday that they deserted Mogadishu for tactical reasons, but that it would not affect the other regions out of the capital, making this desertion from El-Bur questionable. Residents claimed the militants left El-Bur for fear of attacks from the locals.

Meanwhile, at least four fighters died after Transitional Federal Government (TFG) troops and al-Shabaab fighters clashed in Bacaad village 15km north of Beledweyne in Hiiraan region on Saturday. The fight erupted after the insurgent attacked TFG bases with mortars and government troops counterattacked, witness said.
