Qabil is overall a covering, protection of sort for a group of people but when you get down to it, is nothing more than a myth. The group then starts to further divide itself all the way to the individual..

Supporting you're tribe or clan is fine but like anything else you can't use it to destroy. I always wondered Why the Somalis feel the need to xiin and xaasid each other? They are their own worst enemy.

They don't suffer from problems other African nations face which are scarce resources, land and usually due to a large population. We are only 8 million (without counting the diaspora) have a enough land and resources plus a good religion. We should be more civilised but we are not? WHY?

There is so much for all but we still continue to xin and xaasid.

And the worst part is they love living with all sorts of other nationalities when they are abroad and boast about what they achieved with their help? But they refuse to help each other progress???? strange

The elders have failed us, they need to go.

The diaspora can influence the present thus the future by not accepting xaasid and xin but asking for real changes that respect their values. If the educated start showing that they are civilised and are not scared or disloyal or distrustful then the rest will notice.

What ever our elders are doing needs us to show them the middle way or agreeable way to reach their goals without resorting to their base emotions. Pride, Jealousy, anger and fear should all controlled.

All that we need to realise is that it is not that bad and no need to exaggerate every emotion.

Tribes are not bad , its tribilism hating on other tribes is wrong , thats why i support Nationhood.
