Tell me in a few simple words how you think the state of the ummah is in right now?

lionheart, do you have any suggestion on what we can do to improve the status of our ummah Question why wait for imaam Mahdi to come when we can take action Question Allah knows when that will be and by then the ummah can be in serious troble, that's my point of view

Yeah there is a lot we can do to improve ourselves but right now i'm a bit hopeless...i have lost confidence in the Ummah..

1) Go back to the Deen..Many muslims have strayed from the path of Sunnah.

2)Education

3)Education

4) Education

5) Educating & employing muslim WOMEN..How can a nation get ahead when 50% of its population is at home doing nothing?

those are some suggestions..i think the ummah lost confidence because we are left behind in the dust in every field...

one more thing..arabs have to be kept out of the decision making..they have been nothing but a disaster for the Ummah..

->one more thing..arabs have to be kept out of the decision making..they have been nothing but a disaster for the Ummah<-

come on, you are being a bit judgmental here Exclamation you should not be judging the whole arab nation but the few ignorant was one. Every nation (somalis, africans, asians, arabs...so on, son) have been a disaster to the ummah Exclamation look at the somalis, instead of promoting peace among themselves they are killing eachother, look at iraq---instead of promoting peace among eachother and work together against the kuffirs they are killing eachother Exclamation every nation is to be blamed Exclamation

->5) Educating & employing muslim WOMEN..How can a nation get ahead when 50% of its population is at home doing nothing?<-

but isn't staying at home and upbringing righteous Muslims more praise worthy for a Muslimah than working Question Yes, you are right on one thing though--more Muslimahs should be out there giving da'wah to her sisters instead of staying at home Exclamation

->1) Go back to the Deen..Many muslims have strayed from the path of Sunnah<-

this is very true, now the question is what can we do to help muslims that are distancing from Islam Question

->2)Education<-

YES, EDUCATION IS A MUST Exclamation like they say "knowledge is a cure" Exclamation

sorry..i'm a little pissed at arabs..lol..usually i'm their biggest supporter on somalinet but they just get on my last nerve..besides they are the least progressive muslims..

while i do agree mothers should raise kids, i believe women shouldn't be kept at home to raise kids only..they should be involved in every fields....just think about 50% of our minds are at home doing nothing..they should go to college and work...in every field..

We should give more da'wah using hte same methods we always had. We shouldn't be begging people to come to Islam.

During our glory days were rushing to Islam simply because we were ahead in medicine, miliratary, technology, science, education etc...people will come again once the beauty of Islam is explained to them and they see that Islam is for progression.

Personally, I feel that right now the Ummah is going through rocky conditions - a shifting process. We're not too stable---but we have to remember that victory and success have their many obstacles we just need to work together.

Al-hamdulillah I'm certain that great things are coming up for us, the Ummah has a lot of potential at the moment.

Every Muslim generation thought that they were facing the greatest trials and that they had reached rock bottom... but al-hamdulillah, things turned out for the better (even if it took time) so lets hope and pray.

we can do little things that will be of great value in the site of Allah, such as getting your friends together and given da'wah, you can give out papers that talk about Islam to people in your neighbourhood, be good examples as muslims...etc Exclamation
