i'm not good at it but i think that's a good idea...not jehovah witness style but i think daw'ah through action is more important..
you don't have to be good at it, you can write something dealing with the fear of Allah (swt), worshipping Him, death...etc and hand these papers out, simple Exclamation if you are the shy type, remembering that you are doing this for the sake of Allah (swt) and keeping this in mind as well as remembering the Ajiir (reward) you can get for doing that can help you a lot walalo Exclamation

Lion
I don't want to suggest anything that might make you uncomfortable. But consider the possibility that maybe calling people "Red Necks", "White Trash", "Trailor Trash", etc. is not the best way to positively influence them in your Dawah efforts. Just put it in the background.

MadMac,

And i don't want to make you feel squeemish about your behavior but calling wahabists, terrorists, ragheads and saying you wish u had killed more muslims/somalis in Somalia is not the best way to positively influence us about the american culture. Just put in that in your backyard along with your fridge, your 1956 doge, and dentures.

A 56 dodge? How about a 57 Chevy?

I only call the shithead Islamists things like that. Not your average run of the mill Somali. Besides I'm not trying to convert anyone to anything.

The average Islamist shithead is closer to me than you are so therefore whatever you say to them, you are saying it to me...If you don't like my insults, there is the virtual door Arrow . Go back to your trailer.

Actually it is you and your ilk I am insulting. And most people here rather enjoy it. You are pretty much considered a backwards ass camel jocky by most observers.

I do agree witt you on the first point. The state of the ummah is beyond horrible. But i think the fact that we have strayed from out path has a lot to do wit hthe fact that we are lagging behind all nations. Muslim scientists, doctors, educators and leaders were all involved in religion. The Deen and Uluum studies weren't separate and most of the muslim scietntist were inspired by the Qur'an.

Muslims are definately more religious today than they were 50 years ago. The state of the ummah after and during colionalism was absolutely horible. In former soviet countries like uzbekistan, tajik Islam was nearly wiped out by the communists. Muslims were very likely and did adopt marxism, communism, and other western idealogies. They have been weakened through years of slavery/colionialism...After the Iran revoultion Muslims got a huge boost of confidence..Alhamdulillah we are a lot better now than we were 50 years ago..and hopefully, 50 years from today we will be much better.

And there's 4.5 billion in the anti-shari'a constellation. Do the math.

What best describes the state of the UMMAH.

A quadrepelgic man lying on the bed, dreaming about long lost glory days.
Also a man blighted with the belief that he can fight and take on his enemies that are already out there, healthier, stronger and better armed,
forgeting that he is a quadrepeligic patient.

A sad quixotic figure chasing imaginary monsters that turn out to be harmless windmills.

The UMMAH will move forward when we realise where we are and in what state we are, then we can go to physiotherapy learn how to move,
learn how to crawl like a child again.
Maybe later how to stand up, then inshallah we will learn how to walk,
then maybe run, then maybe fight.

inshallah all is possible but first we have to

wake up.
