Kuwait government has on Saturday brought the largest aid food into the capital Mogadishu to drought hit Somalis and handed it into somali government officials, reports said.
The aid was 3300 tones of food which Kuwait red crecent reached Mogadishu handing to Somali premier, A/weli Mohamed Ali at Mogadishu sea port.
Somali premier, A/weli Mohamed Ali thanked Kuwait government and people for the help they have provided to Somali poor people saying his government would contribute to the needy people in moagadishu refugee camps.
Dr. Almas’ud Rashid told reporters that the aid was to internally displaced people in Mogadishu adding that they would bring other aid through planes coming days.
