Iowa? really. Arghh I can't imagine myself going there for an hour let alone be there for school. But Good luck!

Yeah I've heard MN is calm this month, and nobody died of heat exhaustion which is a bummer lool.

I was hoping to go to LA this Eid but I'm guessing I'll have to wait for Eid al-Adha insha'allah.

I have attended school there for my first cycle. Iowa is really a great state in terms of people, laid back civilized folks. , but i some times crave for somali. lol

Xasidaad. lol. I never heard of people die from heat exhaustion in MN. You must have got tired of spending Eid in MN, but for me EID in MN is what it is. You know i don't have to go into details :)

Just don't become one of those guys on the bus or trains who go around asking girls for their number. And like someone said, Eid party at midnight is probably not somewhere you will find a religious wifie. Good luck

Dude aren't u eighteen?..damn ur too young for a wify.
Yes, somewhere around that age, marrying in young age is good thing as it is has been mentioned many times in Imams/Sheikhs in Mosques. I also believe it is good thing to marry young because there's less likely that she has committed zina, and there's also less chance that she committed something very sinful. Being single at 20-21 makes you feel more desperate and more willing to commit zina because you can't hold your temptation.
But you desperate enough to ask on a forum full of strangers where to find a wife? And no, its not a "dating website.", its for people who are serious about marriage.
Still a "dating website". I don't want to go and meet someone I don't know across the internet. I want to do some of searching without internet dating help. I don't trust the internet. Even if I did, I would find that most of my time has wasted by thinking of "How should I reject this girl" when this girl thinks you're into her when you're aren't.
You Somalis are ruining the meaning of Marriage, you can't just marry someone you met at the masjid, you've to socialize with them first, get to know them, stop throwing the word marriage around. Get educated first, support yourself before you try to support someone else. No wonder Somali marriages don't last.
Socialising the girls is not easy when you're trying to not make it haraam, and I don't even have any good maharams to help me. Marrying does not mean you have to move in and live with her, you can live in parent's house while you're married and you can meet up sometimes. I already can support her, and I already can support any babies she spurts out because I'm little bit rich compared to other Somalis who live in benefits, I can earn money by doing part time jobs.
Idol - He can 'get to know her' the Islamic way.. With her Mahram present *If he's man enough*.. :|
Or you can do that on FB chat.
eww serve what needs
You're naive if you think otherwise. Every man and woman has needs that can be only served by another opposite gender. If you went outside and asked every non-married young Muslims what they would want from his/her partner if she/he married, they all would say same answer if they're honest, and if they said "love", they really meant something else because love doesn't exist in relationship in first few years.
Try facebook, that's where my friemd found his wife. He found her on my other friends wall, he then added her. Comunicated with her through fb chat, then after 2 years I heard they got married. may allah give you a loyal wife amiin
 Although this seems like bit creepy if you don't have any good reasons.
This is not the proper way to find a wife. Good luck.
Care to tell me the "proper" way to find a wife?
Just don't become one of those guys on the bus or trains who go around asking girls for their number. And like someone said, Eid party at midnight is probably not somewhere you will find a religious wifie. Good luck
I will not. Wallhi, my non-muslim mate was so desperate for girlfriend, he kept asking any "hot" girls he sees in bus, after finishing the school. He was still in his school uniform, asking older girls if she wants some conversation and few minutes later, he asks her if she wants to be his girlfriend (Sometimes, he asks her if she has boyfriend). If any girl asked how old he is, he would reply saying he's 17, while in school uniform
Also, Eid party at midnight  I was planning to do it in afternoon, and that time where most religious and intelligent girls reside.
