First Aid carrying flight lands in Garbaharey,Gedo

Reports from Garbaharey city of Gedo region say that the first flight of carrying aid to the drought affected people in southwest Somalia has landed in that city long years later.



Reports say that the aid flight reached Garbaharey this morning and It was brought there by Unicef.



One of the Ahlu-suna officials confirmed this news for local press saying they will provide the food for needy people.



Gedo region is located in southwest Somalia and it’s one of the worst droughts affected areas in the Country.
