Poor kid....most kids don't really like people touching their hair. My little niece goes crazy when her mum's doing her hair and my cousin would really benefit from parenting classes because pulling at the kid's hair and hitting her head with a comb is just not right.
Sounds like a struggle to be a young girl with timo adeeg. :|

^ she has curly hair not jareer but my cousin likes plaiting it because she thinks it'll grow longer quicker and my niece really hates the whole thing. I don't really see why she's torturing the kid just because she likes long hair.

I'm so glad Allah made me Somali. I feel sorry for black and west African women. :|
Why just West African women? Almost all black/African women have hair like that.. :|

Still the child's hair isn't evenn very nappy/kinky whatever you wanna call it.. She wasn't using the right type of hair comb, the dhaandhaaned was using a bloody hair brush, which isn't meant to brush that tyoe of hair..

actually most of somali women have nappyer hair than that little girl. you see soomali women use daawada timaha lagu jilciyo, adult somali women i would say 90% somali women used daawada timaha lagu jilciyo some where in their live. marka waxba yaan la tilmaamin gabadhaas yar. timaha soomaalida kama jilicsana gabadhaas yar.

That's total BS..!!

This woman cant be right in the lead. Kinky hair should be detangled when washing it and oil used when the hair is damp. It is then easy to manage and braid.

MY HAIR IS THE SAME TEXTURE AS THAT LITTLE GIRL.
I WAS YOUNG, MY MOTHER WOULD TAKE HER TIME, SECTIONING, GENTLY COMBING, AND BRAIDING MY HAIR!
WHAT THAT THE LADY IS DOING TO HER DAUGHTER'S HAIR IS PAINFUL AND WILL CAUSE HAIR LOSS!
ITS IS CHILD ABUSE!

Well, most women from the Horn have much softer hair than the women of West African descent.

Is your hair jareer?

Who will win in a battle: A wire brush with 30mm steel scraper or this jareer hair? It would be the dagaal of the century.

Marka she should say excluding the Horn.. Because hair wise there's no difference between a west african, Southern African, East African (exluding the horn).. Heck The bushmen are known to have hair harder than hard.. :|

Plus most Xabashis *Ethiopians* are known to have wooly hair.. Its only the Somalis, Sudanis and Eritreans with soft hair..

And AlhamduliAh I have soft wavy hair..

Beenaale, well guys with timo adeeg rarely go bold and if they do it's their late 30's. Sure timo jileec might be nice during ur teenage years when ajnabi girls cant resist touching it but when 20's arrive and hairline starts receding and shedding, u will realize it was never worth it.

FOR "JAREER/NAPPY" HAIR, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS USE A WIDE-TOOTH, DETANGLING COMB LIKE THIS ONE:
