Sudanese have a strong identity, culture, distinct music and clan system. As long as one lives in his land, there is no room for confusion. It is the people in the diaspora who get confused. Race is not a central issue to identity and does not determine whether you are an arab or not.I know Somais got identity issues, but Sudan is far worse than us. Many of them are confused and not sure what they are. At least we speak our own language, have our own culture, our own music and our own clan system.
Why cant we be both. Ethnic Somalis who are Black African Muslims.
