The Quran doesn't say it exists nor does it go against it..but gives out clues. Like for example, isn't there a Nabbi whose people were much much bigger and taller than the current day Homo Sapiens? Forgot his name...

And think about it...the remains of the Turkana Boy that were found were much bigger and taller than the current humans
