Are you stupid or something? Wallahi I think there is something wrong with you in the head. What history are you talking about? Where are you sourced? What written record are you on? Who corroborates your peasant vagrants tales?

I can give you a million sources from people who were there at that time writing and others who built on those history showing you as Oromo had absolutely Zero to do with Harrar, Imam Gurey, or that history. Whereas Somalis like the Marehan clan are sourced by the Shihab Ad-Din in the Futah, in French, in Arabic, in English, etc writings all over having to do with that time frame.

Do you understand what claim means? Claim means unverified. Between you and I who is verified and who isn't?

My position is built on written history, your claims are built on the tales of the peasants who were kept out of Harar by the wall built by a Marehan Somali Emir.

Jeez, I am really starting to think maybe Oromo really are a very brain-dead nation as Somalis hint them to be. Look who represents them here.

U are funny.... savage but at least funny
Hayyee my Harari "cousin by claim" can u trace back your family history to Harer? does it give u special place in the somali clan competition?
I heard in the somali clan competition those who can claim and link them selves to Harer have special places!
Wallahi it pleases me to be claimed!

U said low cast? do u know what Lafurg means? its was a special Gada appellation for low casts and sheegattos...your ancestors were enrolled in it

It is perfectly reasonable why we left it.

Same reason why we left Mogadishu 1991, even though the Marehan clan and a Marehan man (Siad Barre-Emperor of East Africa) were ruling it for most of modern Somalia. Empires get defeated and its elite flee. Happens all the time, it is why I myself am in the US with 98% of my immediate family including grandparents from both sides. The elite of Harar were defeated by the Portuguese and their Abbysinian minions.

Do you accept you as a Oromo have virtually nothing to do with the Harrar of Imam Ahmed Gurey, his wars, or the nature of that vicinity in its most important time? Do you accept you are not in written record East Africa, Muslim, Christian, or otherwise?

Even though it doesn't need your accepting, the galls of continuing to be part of this discussion continues to amaze me.

Harer was not destroyed as Sultanate after the defeat of Imam Ahmed; it was still a force to reckon with.
So it cannot be that u fled in front of the abyssinians 8-)

The then big Oromo clans like Akicchu, Yajju and Maya participated in that war!
Honestly I dont take any pride of them participating in that war!

Oromo lineage comes from a Qaallu who fell from the sky! The guy must have been a pretty good gymnast so much so that he managed to land on a tree!
All the flying in the clouds gave him some appetite and the first thing he asked for to the locals who came to him was ...a woman :D
MashaAllah

Bareento add harer to your list of clans there.
I am beginning to think that this was an ancient clan of people.

Gurey,

I understand the lifestyle of somalis somewhat but not entirely.

But I guarantee you harar highlands are no place to pass up.

Even I, as a muslim have more respect for him than u! the number of the times u throw his name in your fake debates just to sully his name is uncountable!
Do u really expect me to insult him, just for your silly bravado! caqli savage

Wallahi no one with slight education can fall so down...well who said u have education...u are raised on Snet
may God have mercy on him.

Oromo means people of the Omo river. They came originally from the Southwest Ethiopian highlands, somewhere near the Sidama homeland, and subsequently conquered almost all of South-Central Ethiopia.

Oromos aren't native to the Ahmar mountains in the East.

In the last thread, in my very first post I got voltage to admit that the entire religious conflict in the 16th century can be called an inter Oromo conflict between tribes that are all now Oromo. That was pretty much the end of that debate. And when he started contradicting himself, Chinaman pointed that out. Which he ignored because it didn't help his case with bareento.

Mckuus, there is no such thing as ahmar mountains. I think you mean Gaara Mullata. Very nice mountainous region in south eastern harargee.
