Inshallah I'll visit Beledwayn- Jowhar-Baidoa- Garbharay-Bardheer-Dhusmareeb-Borama

Bay
Bakool
Gedo
Jubba Dhexe
Awdal

are regions I'll tour in the future
Monk you should visit Puntland I suggest Calmadows environs its extremely beautiful. Urban planning is not a strong hold of Somalis. You'd be suprised on how relatively well the Warsangelis are doing building Erigavo, Badhan, Dhahar, Bosaaso in all Somalis are stone throws behind the world. Every tribal homeland looks nearly the same as the next plus or minus.

Impressive list  If I were you id add Jowhar Merca, Baraawe and Beledweyne to that list sometime in the future....then you can call your Somali adventure complete

I agree...wonderful list if you ask me! I would add the cities the brother above mentioned...and also several cities in the Gedo region...don't know why you left it out! :|
Add Baardheere and Luuq to the list and then the adventure will truly be complete

DM,

August, 1967, on the way to Eyl.
Thanks. It must have been tiny.
Three stone buildings and a partially finished something that was being used to store gasoline. The hydrogen sulphide in the water and air was a special treat. I think I probably blew some minds when I drank 4 cold aranchatas (sp?) in the dukan. It was a hot trip....
